Christin and Zachary Hunter (CEO & Co Owner)

My name is Christin Hunter, my husband, Zachary and I own Violet Snow Custom Fabric. Want a little back story? Don't worry, I will spare you the boring bits and get straight to the point.

My husband and I are not the original owners of VSCF, crazy right?! This baby was brought into the world by my significantly older sister, Hannah (oh fine, she's only 18 months older, but I like to make cheesy Dad jokes). For the first 9 months of the business, my husband and I were the golfers, we helped her with shipping, art and customer support. Fast forward to the summer of 2019, my sister faced medical issues, leaving her unable to tend to the business. Thats when Zachary and I stepped up and took over, and have been absolutely enthralled ever sense.

A little about us, we are parents of four amazing children. Our oldest, Autumn is 22. Alyson, our upper middle child is 14, our lower middle Everly is 7, and our youngest, Elijah is 2 years old. I promise, we did not have Autumn at the ripe age of 11, and then decide to add to our little tribe every 6 years or so 😂 All of our children are adopted from foster care. They are the most spectacular children to ever walk the planet, and I’m not just saying that because they’re ours (ok, fine maybe a little).
We live in East Mesa, Arizona, where the sun always shining and you can bake cookies on your dashboard ask me how I know🤦🏻‍♀️).

I “work” at VSCF. Although, I wouldn’t call it work, VSCF allows me to spend more time with my kids, than my previous 9-5 corporate America "gigs".. In theory, however, between dance, tennis, soccer practice, homework, and errands there never seems to be enough of it ;) When I have free time, you can find me by the sewing machine. Likely yelling at my serger, or forgetting to replace my bobbin (it’s a gift 😂 )

Zachary’s career is at Boeing. He’s been with Boeing since he was 19 years old 😱. After his “day job” he’s back at it shipping your orders and prepping fabrics. On his “downtime” he tends to the lawn. Yeah 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s what my husband does on his leisure time. Maybe I should get him some sweet New Balances, and cargo shorts to go with his whole suburban dad MO.

When we first dreamed of this business, we knew it would take a lot of work. We also had confidence in our unparalleled, customer-focused core values, and our premium custom fabrics. Which is something we pride ourselves on. If you ever have questions, or would like some insight, please do not hesitate to shoot us an email info@violetsnowcustomfabric.com

Anyway, enough about us. If you’ve made it this far, kudos to you for sticking along! Our modern day world is so connected that you quite literally have access to infinite beautiful fabrics at your fingertips. We are over the moon that you chose to check out ours!

Val Varady (COO & Proprietor)

I'm Val. I've been with Violet Snow since January of 2019 (one month after launch!) and now I mostly hang behind the scenes submitting the orders to print and handling our art file system. I sewed my own clothes in high school, but fell away from it in college when I couldn't take my machine. I didn't get back into it until 2017 when I realized that custom fabric existed and I could sew cute, unique items for my daughter instead of sending her in the same Carter's clothes every other kid was wearing at daycare. I taught myself how to use a serger and a coverstitch and then somehow lucked into finding VSCF at the ground level and jumped at the chance to strike... My love of this brand erupted from there. In addition to VSCF, I work full time managing a histology lab and my "free time" renovating a house I recently bought. I love my 2 daughters with everything I have and we have lots of fun trying to live our best lives. They love seeing the art and fabric we make and it brings me great joy to hear their happy squeals when I bust out a new dress made from VSCF goodies!

Paige Munguia (Customer Operations Executive)

My name is Paige, 26 and I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we are both entrepreneurs! I own and exclusively sew for Mamas Tiny Threads which specializes in Children’s clothing and cloth diapers. We also own our barbershop, which is my husbands career! We have 3 young children that keep us on our toes. I have been with Violet Snow for a little over 1 year and I am so blessed to work for an amazing company. I have an autonomic nervous system disorder that I’m working on trying to correct, so in my free time, you’ll see me lifting heavy at the gym! I am also big into astrology and everything spiritual.
